With a background in Physical Education, obtained in the British Army as Sergeant Instructor ‘Army Physical Training Corps’ and further diplomas in Physical Recreation, I run a successful business, providing professional judo coaching and other related activities to School, Colleges, Universities and Clubs within the UK and USA.
Coaching judoka, ages 4 to 65, beginners to elite athletes, is my hallmark, together with delivering a ‘Coach the Coach’ clinic, including starting a club and retaining members with initiative lesson plans, designed specifically for the 21st Century judoka.
ELITE JUDO COACHING
During my 36 year judo career, I have trained and coached with a vast number of elite judo players, who have competed in the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, Commonwealth Games and British Open Championships, which took place at the Budokwai - London England and Elite training centre at Bath University England , also judoka in Germany , USA and Hong Kong .
Some of the Olympians that I have trained with include: Winston Gordon, Kate Howey, Julian Davies, Neil Adams, Brian Jacks and Ray Stevens.
Olympic Coach Roy Inmann OBE 8th Dan - British Judo Association, is a close friend and confidant.
